Above this focal zone, a custom canopy fitted with Belfer’s recessed marquee fixtures delivers both functional clarity and aesthetic distinction.

The lighting solution was designed to highlight the artisanal bar finishes and softly illuminate the beverage display, creating a luminous centerpiece visible from the dining space.

Design Intent

The design intent centered on creating illumination that visually defines the bar canopy while supporting functionality behind the counter. The MQ2504’s recessed configuration allowed the lighting to enhance the bar’s sculptural canopy without visible interference —delivering subtle, ambient brightness that complements the interior palette.

By integrating the fixtures directly into the canopy design, the lighting becomes part of the architectural composition, reinforcing Due Cucina’s balance of craft and contemporary authenticity.

Installation Highlights

The MQ2504 fixtures were installed precisely along the underside of the Italian Bar canopy. Collaboration between the architectural and electrical teams ensured uniform spacing and secure integration within a limited ceiling cavity. Custom color matching allowed the fixture faceplates to blend seamlessly with the canopy finish.

Energy-efficient LED lamps were selected for warmth and longevity while maintaining consistent color rendering essential for beverage and material presentation.
