Hoover Building LED Lighting LED Retrofit and Refurbishment

The U.S. Department of Commerce building was completed in 1932 and spans 3 city blocks in the middle of Washington DC. The original, copper incandescent lighting fixtures were built by hand during the WPA and were in need of a serious upgrade. We were contracted to retrofit each fixture with energy efficient LED sources, polish each original housing, refurbish or replace all glass and copper while preserving the integrity of this historic landmark.
