At the Hollister / Abercrombie & Fitch Headquarters in New Albany, lighting plays an integral role in shaping architectural character and brand experience. In the outdoor barn area—an elegant retreat space defined by timber construction and an open-air fireplace—Belfer Lighting crafted a custom circular marquee chandelier using the MQ2502 Marquee Lighting Wet Location system.
Suspended over the central fireplace, this fixture anchors the space with a warm, inviting glow that complements the rustic detailing of the barn structure. Designed to perform in outdoor conditions while maintaining visual delicacy, the MQ2502 system delivers both durable illumination and refined craftsmanship, emblematic of Belfer’s architectural lighting expertise.
The MQ2502 fixture’s adaptability allows designers to customize form and configuration for unique architectural spaces—demonstrating how Belfer lighting functions as both technical solution and sculptural feature.
The custom round marquee chandelier brings sophisticated charm to the barn’s outdoor seating area, merging Hollister’s brand aesthetic of effortless style with functional performance. Its warm illumination zone highlights the fireplace stonework, timber ceiling, and surrounding lounge space, creating a comforting ambiance ideal for relaxation or collaboration.
The wet-location construction ensures year-round reliability without compromising beauty. The blend of handcrafted quality and durable materials makes this installation both visually iconic and technically resilient—a lighting centerpiece for the headquarters exterior environment.

Eighth Avenue Place houses some of the most prominent businesses and is a marvel of architectural and sustainable design. At the prestigious 280 Park Avenue in New York City, Belfer Lighting designed and manufactured a suite of custom linear LED lighting fixtures tailored for the building’s upscale lobbies, public corridors, and common areas. This iconic Midtown Manhattan office tower, known for its refined renovations and high-end tenant spaces, required clean, efficient lighting that would elevate the architectural expression of the interiors without compromising performance.
Belfer’s custom-engineered linear LED fixtures were fabricated with precision to integrate seamlessly into ceilings and architectural elements. Features include:
Low-profile recessed linear housings for minimal visual disruption
High-performance LED arrays delivering uniform illumination
Custom lengths tailored to project specifications
These linear fixtures provided both functional light and a clean visual rhythm throughout the high-traffic interior spaces, reinforcing the building’s sleek, modern aesthetic.
The design team faced the challenge of preserving the minimalist look of newly renovated ceilings while delivering code-compliant, energy-efficient lighting. Belfer engineered flush-mounted linear systems that blended into plaster and wood ceilings, incorporating continuous run capabilities and integrated junction access for maintenance.
With attention to detail, finish, and ease of installation, Belfer ensured that each lighting element supported the overall design intent of a luxury commercial environment.
Belfer’s custom linear LED lighting systems now contribute to the refined visual identity of 280 Park Avenue. The fixtures provide both architectural clarity and lighting comfort—delivering a premium experience for tenants and visitors alike.

Elegant design meets functional illumination in this video teleconference environment, where clarity and comfort are essential. The lighting design uses Belfer MQ2502FX Field Curvable Marquee™ Lighting—seamlessly concealed within the ceiling cove above the conference table—to create uniform, glare-free illumination across the workspace.
The field-curvable design allows the lighting to follow the architectural geometry of the ceiling, providing a refined, continuous glow ideal for high-performance visual settings like video conferencing rooms and executive meeting spaces.
Perfect for integrated ceiling designs, the MQ2502FX offers flexibility and control—delivering luminous continuity that enhances both aesthetics and functionality.
