Set within the vineyards of California’s renowned wine country, the Four Seasons Resort and Residences presents a sanctuary for balance, beauty, and wellness. The resort’s fitness center reflects this —merging luxury design with natural elements to create an inspiring and restorative environment.

Belfer collaborated with the lighting design team to illuminate the space with a calm, refined character—ensuring that every surface and transition enhances the guest experience without distraction.

Design Intent

The creative vision sought to integrate light as an architectural element—one that defines movement and transformation across the wellness experience. The Belfer WS7215 was chosen to provide consistent illumination with restrained elegance, reinforcing the resort’s design language of quiet sophistication. Through careful fixture placement, the wall sconces provide ambient light during active daytime use and a warm, relaxing tone in evening hours.

Installation Highlights

Installation was executed in collaboration with Lighting Designer Barbara Bouyea of Bouyea & Associates, whose refined approach to hospitality environments guided the fixture selection and layout. The slim wall sconces were strategically positioned along circulation paths and accent walls, offering an even, glare-free wash that complements the resort’s soft architectural contours. The dimmable performance allowed precise tuning for events, classes, and private fitness sessions, maintaining both functionality and ambience.
