Project Overview

At Angela Estate Winery in Oregon’s Willamette Valley, Belfer Lighting provided a custom lighting solution for the winery’s semi-circular barrel tunnel and underground tasting area. The environment called for lighting that would be both subtle and durable, maintaining the rustic character of the space while ensuring comfort, visibility, and ambiance for guests during tours and private tastings.

Lighting Solution

Belfer’s WS6215 Wedge LED wall sconces were chosen for their sleek architectural profile, indirect illumination, and ability to mount flush to curved concrete walls—ideal for the unique geometry of the barrel tunnel.

Design Intent

The design team needed a lighting fixture that would enhance the experience of walking through the arched concrete tunnel lined with wine barrels, without overpowering the natural textures and tones of the space. The WS6215 fixture’s discreet presence and soft wall-washing glow provided a perfect fit—offering directional, glare-free lighting that gently defines the tunnel’s curvature. The sconces were spaced evenly along the perimeter, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere leading to the tasting room. The result is a lighting scheme that supports comfort, mood, and heritage.

These fixtures enhance the space where residents relax, socialize, and enjoy the natural light from the surrounding landscape.

Lighting Solution

The WS7230 Double Wedge Lens LED Wall Sconce was specified in a white powder coat finish to complement the neutral palette of the reception area. Its energy-efficient, high-performance design delivers consistent, reliable illumination, adding depth and visual interest to the walls while contributing to a bright and comfortable atmosphere.

Whitetail Woods Regional Park features award-winning camper cabins designed to immerse guests in nature while providing modern comfort. The cabins, perched on concrete piers above the forest floor, combine a “house in the trees” concept with accessible design for all visitors.

Central to the interior living experience is the Belfer WS6215 Wedge Wall Sconces, installed in the cabin living room areas.
