In a stunning modern residence nestled atop Atlas Peak in Napa Valley, Belfer Lighting was selected to illuminate the home’s glass-outlined indoor balcony area with our WS6215 Wedge LED wall sconces. This elevated interior space overlooks the main living area and features clean architectural lines, transparent glass railings, and soft, indirect lighting that elevates the mood while preserving sightlines.
The client required lighting that would blend seamlessly with the home’s minimalist aesthetic while delivering architectural interest and functional performance. The WS6215 provided the ideal solution.
Belfer’s WS6215 Wedge LED wall sconce was installed along the interior walls of the indoor balcony to create a low-profile, glare-free lighting effect. The fixture’s compact design and concealed optics make it perfect for modern interiors where subtle integration is key.
Model: WS6215 Wedge LED Wall Sconce
Light Source: Warm 3000K white LED
Finish: White Powder Coat match wall and glass surroundings
Distribution: Indirect upward lighting for architectural ambiance
The home’s glass-lined indoor balcony needed lighting that was functional, yet architecturally discreet. The design team avoided ceiling-mounted or pendant lighting to preserve the visual openness of the interior. Instead, the WS6215 was wall-mounted above the glass windows to cast warm uplight across the ceiling and upper walls, softly illuminating the balcony without visual clutter.
The sconces also serve to safely define the walkway at night while enhancing the architectural expression of the space.
Mounted on walls above clear glass balcony panels
Seamless integration into drywall
Soft indirect light prevents glare on glass and enhances materials
Fixtures align with interior symmetry and structural rhythm
Integrated with the home’s dimmable lighting system for ambient control
The WS6215 LED wall sconces at this Atlas Peak private residence bring subtle sophistication and visual comfort to the indoor balcony. Their indirect lighting enhances the home’s architectural elements, complements the clean lines of the glass windows and railings, and provides a warm glow that supports both everyday use and evening ambiance.

At this modern lakefront residence, lighting design had to balance architectural clarity with warmth and comfort. Belfer’s WS6215 Wedge Wall Sconces in White Powder Coat, mounted on custom 18-inch stems, create a floating effect that emphasizes vertical planes while keeping walls free from glare and shadow.
The WS6215 is a clean, architectural LED wall sconce designed for subtle illumination. In this lake house, custom 18" projection stems extend the fixtures away from the wall, adding dimensionality and accentuating the interplay between glass, wood, and stone. The white powder coat finish blends seamlessly with the lake house’s modern interiors, letting light itself become the design feature.
Extended Mounting: 18" stems create floating planes of light away from the wall surface.
Soft Wash: Angled wedge lens provides low-glare illumination across adjacent walls.
Architectural Finish: White powder coat disappears into painted surfaces for a seamless look.
Performance: High efficacy LEDs with smooth dimming and long life.
Great Room: Stem-mounted sconces create sculptural rhythm along expansive wood walls without obstructing floor-to-ceiling glass.
